We aim to provide a curriculum that is appropriate to the needs and abilities of all children. We plan our teaching and learning in such a way that we enable each child to reach for the highest level of personal achievement. It is  important to understand what we mean by more able and talented pupils. The term ‘able pupil’ refers to a child who shows exceptional ability in one or more of the academic elements of the school curriculum. The term ‘talented’ refers to a child who shows exceptional practical/performing abilities. We challenge and develop children according to their individual ability.
