At Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg, all children are valued equally regardless of their abilities, aptitudes, interests and behaviour. Each child is entitled to a differentiated curriculum. However, some children may experience difficulties in some aspects of learning at some stage of their school life which we refer to as Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

All children’s progress is assessed and monitored throughout their school life and if additional needs arise, specific strategies are put in place to support the child. If necessary, there will be liaison with the Educational Psychologist or other agencies.

Parents are consulted throughout all stages and encouraged to work with the school to achieve the best outcome for their child.
