Welcome to the year 10 page!
You are embarking on a very important and exciting time in your school lives. You are now moving on from key stage 3 to study your GCSE subject choices.
The last two years will be busy, fun and a little challenging. The majority of you will most likely sit your first GCSE exams during this coming year. This may sound scary but do not worry; I, along with your form tutors and teachers are here to guide you through the entire process.
Your academic study is certainly important however your personal development is of the utmost significance too. Over the next two years you will continue to mature into courteous, friendly pupils who show pride in their Welsh language and heritage. Year 10 pupils play an integral role in school life as many younger pupils look up to you as role models to emulate. You can positively influence the younger pupils through your general attitude and behaviour. This year will offer a huge range of opportunities for you to get involved in numerous extra curricular activities - make the most of it!
