This exciting collaboration between departments is testament to the school’s status as a pioneer school for the new curriculum in Wales. Year 7 boasts three projects spanning many different subjects all aimed at enhancing their understanding and pride in the Vale, in Wales and to lift their horizons to the wider world.

'As a pioneer school for the Curriculum for Wales, teachers plan and trial new activities and learning experiences confidently.  Thematic projects, such as the work on Patagonia in Years 5 and 6, and ‘Fi, Fy Mro, Fy Myd’ in Year 7, integrate experiences that develop different skills well.'
